Aku juga suka ulasan bukunya. ulasan bukunya yang ekspresif dan lucu 😙😆 Aku suka bagaimana dia menggunakan gif untuk menyampaikan pikiran dan perasaannya dalam reviewnya.

I also love her book reviews. They are  expressive and funny 😙😆 I love how she use the gif to convey her thought and feeling in her review. It fit perfectly 

Btw, aku harus berterima kasih kepada BBI karena mengusulkan topik “berkenalan dengan anggota baru BBI” dalam HUT BBI ke 6 sehingga aku bisa punya alasan untuk mewawancarai An yang merupakan anggota baru dari BBI. Yeah! Aku sudah lama ingin mengajukan pertanyaan kepadanya , tapi aku tidak yakin bagaimana dan kapan.
Jadi, terima kasih BBI dan Happy Birthday yang ke-6! Semoga makin sukses ya!
Btw, I think I have to thank BBI (Indonesia Book Blogger)  for come up with “getting to know new member” topic in their birthday challenge:  since Adara is new member of BBI like me so I can come up with excuses to interview her. Hi An, thank you for willing to spend your time answering my questions. Well, since you are a book blogger and author of the book, I’m going to ask you question related to both positions. Is it okay?

An as Book blogger

1. Apa alasan kamu mulai blogging ttg buku? Why did you choose to start book blogging?

A1: Awalnya aku mulai karena pengin punya blog. Terus bingung mau diisi apa blog-nya. Waktu itu kepikiran buat bikin review buku aja, karena aku emang banyak baca buku dan seneng nulis review. Apalagi, waktu itu aku sempet suka baca review-review buku kocak gitu di blog lama yang sekarang udah enggak aktif. Jadi terinspirasi dan keterusan deh. Hehe.

Originally I started because I wanted to have a blog but I was confused about the content. Then I start making book review, because I love reading books and happy to write a review. Moreover, I have written hilarious book-review at my past blog that now no longer active. So I got inspired and continue to write book review. Hehe.

2. Buku apa yang favorit untuk direview mulai dari kamu mulai ngeblog? What have been your favorite books to review since you started?

A2: yang asik untuk di-review sih, jelas yang bagus banget atau yang jelek banget. Hehe. Karena aku jadi semangat ngetik review buat ngasih tau ke orang-orang kenapa harus banget / sangat tidak disarankan buat baca buku itu

The really good or the really bad one. Hehe. Since I became excited to type book reviews for telling people why they must read or they should not read the books.

3. Buku apa yang kamu harapkan mendapatkan lebih banyak perhatian? Any books you wish had more attention?

A3: Aku sih berharap fantasi lebih banyak menarik minat pembaca Indonesia hehe. Soalnya sekarang yang laku kan, kebanyakan fantasi luar. Ya, enggak harus yang fantasi banget kayak Harry Potter atau Game of Thrones. Seenggaknya yang masih ada dunia nyatanya kayak Percy Jackson gitu juga bagus kok.

Sebenernya, emang udah ada sih, fantasi Indonesia, tapi belum terlalu kedengeran aja : D.

I still hope Indonesia fantasy book get more readers. You see the trend right now, most fantasy books that got attention are from outside Indonesia. I did not expect the quality is  like Harry Potter or Game of Thrones. At least if they can match Percy Jackson’s quality, it is fine for me.

4. Review yang kamu buat lucu. Berapa lama waktu yang dibutuhkan untuk membuat review? I also notice you make great and funny reviews. How long does it usually take to make one?

A4: Satu review minimal setengah jam, tapi bisa lebih kalau yang dibahas banyak. Bisa sampai dua jam kalau niat : D hehe.

One review can take at least half an hour, but could be more if they were a lot to discussed. It can be two hours if I am in high spirit 😀 hehe.

5. Siapa karakter fiksi yg ingin kamu jadikan sahabat? Who book character you’d like to be your BFF?

A5: AAH BANYAK BANGET. Gabisa milih, nih, hehe.

Too many I can’t choose. Hehe

6. Punya saran untuk pembaca yg memulai menjadi blog buku? Do you have any advice for readers who are interested in starting their own book blogs?

A6: Menurutku, kalau emang suka bikin review buku, jangan ragu buat bikin blog. Jangan peduliin dulu ada yang baca atau enggak waktu pertama kali bikin blog, yang penting tulis aja apa yang kalian mau.

Dan yang paling penting, bikin review itu harus yang objektif. Jangan jelek-jelekin buku yang sebenernya bagus, dan bagus-bagusin buku yang sebenernya jelek cuma gara-gara (misalnya) kalian kenal penulisnya/editornya/siapalah. Berusahalah bersikap objektif ^^, kalau bagus bilang bagus, jelek bilang jelek (tapi jangan lupa juga kasih saran yang berguna ya)

A6: I think that if you like to write a book review , do not hesitate to make a blog. Do not think too much whether there will be a reader or not, write what you think important and what you want.

And most important is please make an objective review. Do not attempt to make mock excessively to the book that actually good, and vice versa just because you knew the author / editor. Try to be objective ^^, say it is good if it is good, and say it is bad if it is bad (but do not forget to make  useful suggestions/advice)

Adara as author

1. Sebagai penulis,apa bagian favoritmu ketika menulis/menerbitkan buku? As author, what is your favorite part of the writing/publishing process?

A1: Hal terasyik saat menulis menurutku waktu nyari nama karakter! Asyik banget muter otak buat nyari nama karakter yang cocok. Terus aku juga suka waktu bikin outline cerita dan alur.

Kalau saat menerbitkan buku, aku paling suka waktu revisinya. Asyik aja ngerombak lagi naskah yang udah kita bikin (soalnya draft awal suka bikin sakit mata kalau dibaca ulang hehe).

Dan yang paling menyenangkan juga adalah… waktu lihat bukuku mejeng di toko buku : ” )

A1: the most fun aspect of writing is when I looking for character’s name! I had fun thinking and searching suitable character name. I also like when I make the outline of the story and plot.

For publishing process, I like revision  part. It is fun to reorganize text that I already wrote (because the initial draft is like sore to the eye).

And my other favorite part is … when I saw my book in the bookstore :”)

2. Jika novelmu dijadikan film, siapa artis yg akan menjadi pemeran utama? If your novel were being made into a movie, whom would you pick to play the lead roles?

A2: Wah, enggak pernah mikir bakal dijadiin film, jadi, belum kepikiran :D.

I never think that my book will become a movie so I did not have anyone in mind.

3. Bagaimana kamu bisa mendapat ide untuk judul novelmu? How did you come up with the title of your book?

A3: Agak lupa juga, ya. Kayaknya awalnya lagi mikirin tentang judul cerita orang yang enggak bisa dapetin sesuatu yang dia pengin, terus kepikiran sama kata-kata mbak-mbak operator itu, hehe.

I forgot. Maybe it was when I was thinking about the title story about people who can not get what they want then I remember the sentence that used by the call operator service, hehe.

4.Adakah hal ttg penerbitan yg kamu harapkan seseorang memberi tahumu lbh awal? What is the one thing about publishing you wish someone would have told you?

A4: Ada… penerbitan itu ternyata asyik banget! :D.

Yes, there is one … I found out publishing turned out to be really fun! :D.

5.Apakah sudah menulis buku baru ? Berkenan memberikan bocoran? 😀 Have you write a new book? Do you mind to spill me some part ? 😀

A5: Sudah! Rencananya terbit dalam beberapa bulan ini : D, Bocorannya? Ceritanya dari Wattpad-ku juga : ))

Yes! My new book will be published in the next few months. The story is also come from my wattpad
